Cassia has been out exercising more lately. This is how she gets pumped up for her routine
Okay, so really we don't know why she does this. Most likely something her Dad taught her :)

Guilimount Cove
Last weekend we went on a hike and had a picnic at Guilimount Cove. It appears to be some land that was donated at one time to the County and they made it into a little preserve. This is looking across the Hood Canal toward the Olympics. It was gorgeous.
Besides eating our picnic we (mostly Ryan and Cassia) skipped rocks and found shells.
I was trying to get Cassia to smile for the camera by singing "The Insty Winsty Spider". She's really into songs with actions lately. This is the rain coming down.
Oh, and here's the spider...
We let her walk a good piece of the trail back to the car. A lot of it was uphill, but she did great. Eventually she stopped walking and just pointed to the back pack. Ryan carried her back almost to the car and then we let her get out again so she could finish the hike on her own. She took a few steps and then stopped. I said, "Cassia are you tired? Do you want Mommy to carry you?" In a tired little voice she said "yeah", so I picked her up and carried her the rest of the way. Cassia's first experience with sore legs after a hike. It was so cute.

That's toooo funny with the tire pump. She's so creative! She looks so much like you in that "happy girl" picture. I love to see the resemblance.
Cassia is looking more and more like her mom!
Wow....she is too fun and way cute. She is looking like you Crystal. She is getting so much hair. Glad you guys are doing well! We miss ya!
The picture of her pumping air into her mouth made me laugh out loud--during a meeting. Whoops! The scenery is beautiful there! Man.
