Christmas 2009

Christmas at our house this year was lots of fun. Cassia was the center of attention. It was so much fun to have her be able to unwrap and care about presents this year. Here's a bunch of pictures from the past week, in pretty random order.

Cassia sporting my new slippers. This was my Christmas Eve gift.

Cassia opening her Christmas Eve gift. A book from Aunt Katie.

Reading a Christmas story.

Cassia decided this present was a good chair and spent a lot of time just sitting here reading books.

Cassia and Dad and her new tricycle. Ryan has wanted to get this for her since last Christmas.

Cassia and her rocking horse from Grandma and Grandpa Hancock. Thanks!

Cassia with all her "loot" (as Ryan's family calls it)

Cassia showing off her new shoes. Her doll Mary also got some new clothes and a new stroller.

Ryan's sister Katie and Ryan's mom spent Christmas with us. Katie drinking Wassail in her new mug. Thanks for coming Katie!

Cassia and Katie and a tea party.

Grandma Whittier got Cassia this tent and tube for Christmas. Thanks Grandma!

Cassia and Grandma in the tent. Thanks for coming Grandma! Cassia loved being your little shadow and playing with someone who has more energy than her pregnant Mom.

More playing with magnets

Ho, ho, ho Merry Christmas!

Just wanted to say a special thank you to my family since I wasn't able to see them this Christmas:
Thanks also to Isaac, Katie, and Lily for the book and cd. They'll be great fun!
Thanks to Amber for the Lowes gift card, card, and stickers. Very thoughtful of you!
Thanks to Adam for the books. Frog and Toad rock.
Thanks to Jeremy, Janell, and Parker for my scarf and nursing blanket, and Cassia's pretty shoes.
Thanks to Mom, Dad, and Angela for the rocking horse, books, and dvd. I've got a lot of reading and Cassia got a lot of riding to do.
I love and miss you all!

Merry Christmas everyone. Hope you had a good one! Oh, and a Happy New Year.

So fun! It was fun with Alexis opening her presents too. I think she was in shock with all of the new toys...she didn't know what to do! She also got a doll stroller. It's too bad we don't still live close, it would have been fun to see Alexis and Cassia play together, now that they're a little older:) Looks like it was a great Christmas, glad you were able to have family come to visit!
