Turkey Time

November brought a lot of visitors to our house, and finally for the first time in our marriage we had bedrooms to put them in. Only air mattresses for beds, but it's better than camping out in the living room :)

My Mom came and stayed with us for a few days. It was nice to see her and Cassia loved spending time with Grandma. She followed her around the house the whole time.

Cassia and Dad ready to go work in the yard. They lasted only a few minutes before it started raining. That's Bremerton for you.

Cassia has always had a love for boxes, she figured out that these blind boxes make great skies. She must be her father's daughter.

Cassia has discovered the joy of popcorn.

This is an especially dominate trait in her genes. My mom is practically a popcorn addict and Ryan's family had a huge bowl of popcorn every Sunday evening. Cassia was doomed.

Turkey, turkey, turkey
Ryan's mom and sister Katie came and had thanksgiving with us this year. It was a lot of work and a lot of fun. I've become more and more into cooking lately so I really wanted to make everything from scratch. It turned out pretty good. Thanks for all the help family!

The little chef.

Working in the kitchen.

This 17 lb beast was on an amazing sale, but probably a little much for the 5 of us to eat. I've been eating turkey for a week straight now and only made a dent in the leftovers.

Cassia sampling the feast. She didn't even like it! It was pretty sad. She really offended her Idaho relatives when she spit out her mashed potatoes. That must be from my side :)

Cassia welcomed all of our guest by trying on all of their shoes. A little young for a shoe fetish, I think.

Well, thanks to my Mom, Ryan's Mom, and Katie for spending time in Washington with us. We really enjoyed having you here! As for the rest of you, come see us soon!

Can't ever start too young with popcorn, or shoe fetish's!
