Saporro trip and the temple...and Halloween

Grandma took another airplane with us and we all went up to Hakkaido prefecture.

The colors were amazing!

Kids and grandma played at the park while Ryan and I went to the temple.

It was a gorgeous temple!!!

With beautiful grounds

Like this Japanese-style pond

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has about 150 temples around the world.

There are 3 in Japan, but our closest one is closed for renovation, so we've traveled to go to one of the next closest.

Nice bridge nearby

Saporro hosted the Olympics in the 1980's.

We already checked out of our apartment, so we had extra baggage for the rest of the trip.

Amazing path throughout the city.  Gotta come back and go running here!

Cool pictures (*caption by Tori)

Steep stairs!

An unexpected vomiting incident took Madsen out, so I chilled with him while the rest of the gang looked around.

Homeless bum I found

Entertainer at the park

Sapporo was a city that was very much designed. They brought in an American to help design the city.  This was one of the old city buildings.

Fun park...Madsen was feeling a little better.

Gotta love Japan and the manhole covers.  Hokkaido is famous for snow and it's ice festival.

Family

Riding the train back to the airport

Quick two day trip, but it was worth it to be at the temple....and we got to see some cool things, and eat some good food.

Trunk or Treat with our ward from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints

Cassia REALLY wanted to pass out candy this year.  She was a unicorn (her stuffed animal).

Turtle - year 3.  Doesn't ask to be anything else.

Anna last year.  Elsa this year.

My cute kiddos

Cassia and I made her custom this year.  It was fun!

And my Tori...being cute
