Moving and Driving

I'm finally going to get caught up on the blog today. On our way to Washington we made a couple stops to visit with family. We spent a few days with Ryan's parents. It was nice to be able to spend time with them especially since we won't be able to see them as often now.

Cassia showing Grandma her piano skills.
Cassia showing Grandpa how to use a bowl.

Tupperware!

It's always easy to relax at Grandma's house.

Then we made an 8 hour drive up to Ryan's sister's house and spent the evening and night with her. As you can see Cassia really enjoyed the drive.
We went to the 'mall' and Cassia got to play around for a while. A nice relief for us and her.
We went to a Cinco De Miyo (sp?) party with Katie and then went to bed early in preparation for another long day of driving. We didn't get any pictures with Katie, unfortunately.

The next day we drove 7 hours and finally made it to our new home. We're in a two bedroom apartment. Everything (church, shopping, etc) is pretty close by and it's beautiful here. We were so happy when we saw the moving truck pull up with our stuff. The moving company used a full size semi and the neighbors thought we were insane trying to fit that much stuff in our apartment. Turns out that all of our stuff fit over the wheels of the truck.

It looks amazing there! Yeah you are right, it sounds like you really do have it all there- trees, mountains, ocean. Good pick!! Are you enjoying not having to work?
