Seeing the Sites

The last couple Saturdays we got to go see some new places. Not too hard when EVERYWHERE is a new place to us. Last Saturday we went to Seattle.

We took the ferry out there. Mine and Cassia's first time on a big boat. Pretty cool!
We hung out with some friends there (Nate, Amy, and Evelyn), but forgot to get pictures with them. Evelyn and Cassia played really well together. Evelyn wasn't afraid to take toys back when Cassia stole them, so she quickly gained Cassia's respect. They took us to Seattle Arboretum. It was beautiful, so many flowers and trees. Thanks for having us guys!

Yesterday we went to Washington State Capitol, in Olympia. While driving there we went over the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. For any of you who haven't seen it, it's HUGE!

War Memorial Statue at the Capital Campus.

Legislative Building

Temple of Justice. When we went into the Legislative building no one was around. When we came out a whole group of bikers had taken over.

Cassia's photo shoot outside the Legislative building.

Governor's Mansion.

We took the scenic route home and Cassia and I were pretty bored by the end, so we had to entertain ourselves somehow.

What a cute girl! It looks like our baby girl will have some competition. ;) That's fun you were able to get out and see some sights.

That laugh cracks me up!! she's a cutie:) Looks like you guys are having fun sight-seeing. Adrian is actually in Seattle right now, doing some work in Redmond. He says the streets are really messed up there, so hopefully you're getting to know your way around!

Hi, this is Janell's mom and just wanted to tell you how CUTE your little one has gotten! Wow, she has changed so much from the time I saw her when you brought her to my house (she wasn't very old then). Best of luck on your new endeavors in Washington! :)
